Friends of Springside Primary

Our next meetings are on

With the lovely weather we have been having, it can only mean one thing..... Summer is coming!  We are all looking froward to the Summer Fair here at Friends of Springside Primary School HQ and are busy behind the scenes getting organised for, what we hope to be, a fantastic event.  This year, the Summer Fair will be on Friday 29th June and in the coming weeks we will be kindly asking for donations.

We are so appreciative of all your continued support with the events we have planned which has helped raise an amazing amount so far this year.  At last year's Summer Fair we raised over £1600, let's see if we can beat it this year!

On Thursday 24th May, there will be a non-uniform day to collect items for a new stall at the Summer Fair... RAINBOW TOMBOLA!  Don't panic!  You don't have to buy rainbow items, we are simply asking for each class to bring in items of a particular colour (or wrapped in that colour).  The item can be anything as long as it is the colour listed for your child's class.

Red - EYFS, Orange - Y1, Yellow - Y2, Green - Y3, Blue - Y4, Pink - Y5, Purple - Y6

On Thursday 4th May, children can come into school wearing their own clothes (suitable footwear etc) which doesn't need to match their class colour.   Please don't spend money buying your child clothing for this event (save your pennies for the Summer Fair)!

If you are able to help set up or run a stall at the fair, please give your details to the office, we would be eternally grateful.

Thank you for your continued support.

Upcoming events

Thursday 7th June - School Disco
Friday 29th June - Summer Fair

The Sponsored Pancake Toss and Spring Disco raised a combined total of £690 which will go towards financing school trips and redesigning the outdoor area outside the junior door.

We are always looking for new members, everybody is welcome.  Please just arrive for the meeting if you would like to get involved.  We will also need lots of help with the Summer Fair.

Our current members are:
Adele Biega, Anthea Hardman, Hannah Hardman, Melissa Kelly, Rebecca Purcell, Julie Rowlands, Rebecca Turner, Sally Gillard and Samantha Hornby.
